Default $3K on coilovers / suspension

I am still pondering what do do for coilovers for daily driver plus some track. Was thinking the KW's might be a tad harsh ( 500 lb) for daily, am considering Ohlins but they're a bit over budget. I'm aiming at $3K or under. Wasn't there something about ohlins being discontinued / replaced by a new model?

I'd welcome opinions on other components like sway bars as well, but I gotta make up my tiny mind about the coilovers, SO HELP ME DAMMIT!! Should I just get it over with and get the KW's. Or get PSS9's and always wonder if I should have got an alternate? Thanks for adding to another coilover thread

spoon adj dampers /w swift springs and choose your own spring rates.. that will run you closer to $3k.. the kw3's are $1700-1800 or so.. and pss9 can be had for like $1200-1300.

I am in the same situation as you. I have been beating myself up over what coilover to get for 6 months. Finally decided on the PSS9's. Good all around performance, good price, and alot of positive reviews. I am going to take the $$$ I saved and get a 23" monitor for my computer!

I rode in a car with KW's and surprisingly it was very good. Didnt feel harsh to me at all.

get pss9's and see if you like it. If too soft.... get a set of harder springs.

pss9's come with a linear rate spring and the dampers can take a 20% jump in the springrate.
