Default 3M clear bra on GPW

I am thinking about putting a clear bra on my S, I just cannot stand the damn stone chips anymore, it just looks bad on GPW. My only concern it that the clear bra may yellow or fade, which would show up on GPW more than any other color. Anyone put a clear bra on GPW with any feedback??

I remember 3m clear bra having a warranty that if it ever fades, turn yellow, tear or anything like that. They will replace free, correct me if I'm wrong.

I am worried about GPW though, a slight change in color and it will stand out far more than BB or NFR.

I know they have a warranty, but I would really rather put it on just one time.

I see where you are coming from. I have seen them on other cars and colors they seem to last pretty long and relatively clean and not turn yellow. But I don't know much about it on white.

The pic in my avatar has a clear bra on.

My car generally sits outside in the sun in the daytime, and the bra has been on nearly 2 years.

Check out Ventureshields; its thinner, stronger, and clearer than 3M's film. I have it on my white Evo and after 2 years it started to yellow a bit but it it was entirely redone under the lifetime warranty. IMO thats not too bad considering it was 30k miles including harsh Minnesota winters with tons of road salt. I'd rather get it redone every few years for free than pay for paint though!

polyurethane film will turn a little yellow...it's most noticeable on white cars...you probably wont ever notice it on any other color car

make sure you get the 8mil, not the 14mil. i have the 14mil on my cr, and the guy really had to work it to get it to cover the nose. doesn't look the best.
