4.57 Gears puts stress on....
I'm kinda wondering if Honda would even know you changed your gears...?
Some shops don't seem to know much beyond standard maintenance or have very few people who do know more anyway.

ya only way they would know is if they are driving and know you have gears cuz its shorter then others they drive. But thats a good question cuz i think if u put the speedo thing, then they will know cuz that has to do with the ecu.

Incorrect. The speedo is not controlled by the ECU.
However, to be clear, the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) does feed into the ECU in addition to the gauge cluster's speedometer, Skip. I think an adjustment to the VSS sensor signal has to be made when final drive gear is changed, since I think the VSS measures speed off the driveshaft. Otherwise, the ECU will be confused about speed, just like the speedo will be off.

IMO everything downstream from the gears:
Bearing caps & botls (Comptech Reinforced
)
Torsen diff.
Output shafts.
CV's.
Wheels & tires.
That means your transmisson gets a break.
So does the clutch / flywheel.
Its all worth it though.
IMO.
