In the nearly two years I've been a member of these boards I couldn't help but notice how we all flock towards different "mods". At one point it's VAFC, then CAI, aftermarket exhausts have always been popular but now it seems like now no S2000 is complete without a final drive gear change. First off I'll admit that I myself have been considering a 4.77 swap for at least 6 months now but lately an awful lot of 'under the hood" topics have centered around gears swaps. Anyone venture to guess what the next "hot mod" will be?

 

Upgraded with 04 parts like rearend, wheel/tires, tranny pump, etc.

I beg to differ, next popular mod will be what scent for the air freshner or color of neon glow lights.

 

I think the next big mod will be those tail pipes with the LED's in them. they are the cooooolest!

The 00-03's all have an internal oil pump in the trans. The gear ratios are differences between the 04 and the 00-03.

 

I do believe they will change the pump to improve oiling at high speeds. Just MHO.

the rear end should be interesting...also the taillights look somewhat cool on the 04
