Default 4 great years have come to an end

I was T-boned (another car ran a red light and smashed into the driver's side of my car). I'm okay, but the car is totaled (99% sure the adjuster is going to). I'm going to get a different car....any suggestions? Has anyone that has gone from the S2000 to (1) G35 coupe (2) 300 series BMW chime in? Any other cars (not really interested in an STI or Evo).
Thanks for the advice and the great community.

RIP Tenblade

Yowza! Hope you're okay and don't have to miss any work! Get something with 5-star crash rating and side airbags!

Looks like you're thinking $35-45k price range.

IS350
BMW 335 coupe
The 6MT G35 SEDAN for 2007 has been rated as pretty fast of a car.
M35x

If used is an option: 2005 Audi S4 MT, 2003 M5

If price is not an option... RS4.

I know you don't like Evo's or STis... but the STi limited is about to be launched (no ricer wing, comes with black leather instead of that blue alcantara stuff) and should be in your price range.

Once again, sorry for your loss!

That's amazing you're okay. Approximately how fast were you and the other car travelling?

All excellent suggestions.

Personally if you're in that 35-45k range, I'd go for a used 2003+ E46 M3. Most s2k members seem to upgrade to that car, and the fact that the new 335 coupe is coming out (along with the new v8 M3), the market for the E46 M3 should definitely go down.

How well did the driver beam protect you? I think I'd be traumatized for life if I was ever T-boned on the driver's side in a small, little sports car.
