Default 400 lbs total weight limit!!!!

I read this in the owners manual last night. It has to be the funniest thing I have ever seen. I know our cars are supposed to be like 4-wheeled motorcycles but ....

I can't remember what page its on but I would imagine that this doesn't leave much room for some people to have passengers.

I would have to be mighty careful to take my budy for a ride when he gets back from Iraq, he use to weigh around 250, and me at 170....

Anyway, still a great car. Infact I believe this is the only negative thing I can find about it!

... I just thought about something, does the book mean per seat? It's hard to believe that a car only supports up to 400 lbs.

Haha PER seat, no, he's refering to the maxing vehicle weight. 400 lbs that's passengers and Cargo.

A lot of cars are rated rediculous like this. The RX8 for example is touted by Mazda as being able to carry 4 6' tall adults. Well only if they are 150lbs each! Or your over the weight limit!

Good reason for her to stay in shape and looking good!

Besides, who wants to be seen in the S2K with an ugly or fat chick in the passenger seat?

The 400# weight limit is also printed on the inside door panel.

i always tell passengers that there is a weight limit-
i also tell them that the problem is that if they weigh too much, it automatically trips the ejection seat!
