Default 457-R gears installed

Just installed the CT 357-R final gear, no instructions came with the gears regarding the 3 heat cycles. Looked at the gear forum but found nothing. Please tell me the details, is it ok to do the 3 cycles on three different days? I don't drive the car often. And I understand not to push it until after 500 miles. Thanks.

It is on their website.

1. Drive "normal" for 10 minutes...let cool-down for 2-3 minutes. Repeat 2-3 times.
2. Drive "normal" for first 500 miles.
3. Replace diff fluid after 500 miles.

The post above was incorrect as you are suppose to drive the car "normal street driving speed" for 10 MILES and stop and let it cool down for 30 minutes. This would be considered one cycle. You are suppose to do this 2 to 3 times. Richmond has a website that has the instructions for break in.

Thanks guys, yes - I meant 457-R. Must have been a "senior moment".

(I use to be indecisive - now I'am not so sure)

This is what his post says:

Street vehicles should be driven at normal street driving speed for approximately 10 miles, then stop and let cool for minutes. Do this 2 to 3 times.
notice that via a typo, he left out the "30" before the minutes part.

no you should allow for a non-beating breakin for a couple hundred miles. this isn't required, but as a safety precaution, it can't hurt.
