Trivium, I had Rick's voodoo knob on my 2000. I have an 04 now and prefer the stock knob for looks. If you are interested you can have the voodoo knob but you gotta pay for shipping. I may be getting a Toyota FJ Crusier and will be retiring to the beach next year so PM me if you are interested.

I am seriously considering buying this knob and be a guinea pig but only an idiot pays $90 (with the 10% student discount) for a shift knob imo.

I had the aluminum Voodoo knob. The feel was nice, but it was just too light. Also, with aluminum being so soft, your hand actually wears down the finish every few days. I was cleaning the dang thing twice a week.

Now I have the T1R round titanium knob. It's a little heavier, and the finish never wears. The smaller size seemed odd at first, but it's actually nice once you're used to it.

If I could have a Ti knob that was 460g, I'd buy it in a second. Remember that with a countersunk knob, you're losing leverage. The extra weight really just helps make up the difference.

I don't know... all the people who own Ti knobs must be morons then. I paid something like $125 for mine. I know people who have paid even more for Spoon or other name brands. When shifting is the biggest "feel" aspect of driving, it's hard to put a price on improving it. Especially when people will pay $1000 for the sound of an exhaust that gains 0 HP.

the only thing i like about the rick is the shape and it's countersunk.

but like most people said, it's too light(I am have a oem ti before this) and it's extra notchy during the winter month.

skunk2 knobs is 440 gram and it's only 40 buck, not countersunk tho

Yeah, the Skunk2 was another option, but I don't care for the looks. I guess I'm willing to pay an additional $50 or so for looks
