Im going to be purchasing a yellow S2000 that is supposed to arrive from Honda on Feb 20th. Is there some sorth of problem with the Yellow S2k's? Specifically focused upon the 4th cylinder? should i be worried, etc?

I don't think there's any relationship between yellow and the very rare #4 cylinder problem. Why would there be?

One of our members has a silver with the #4 cylinder problem, so it is not limited to just yellows

Why would color have anything at all to do with it? It's not like they match up an engine and body beforehand. Color of the car is not going to determine the problem at all - neither are the engines going to be 'technically' any diferent.

The problem I suspect, and this is why you might be worried about the #4 cylinder problem, is the 2001 production engines. As Yellow is a 2001 production model, it may be the case that things look more prevalent with this color.

Just a thought.

I heard earlier that it could have been some type of production number issue, like they were only cars from 1000-2000(not those numbers) but something like that, is that the case? My dad agreed to buy this car rather than the bmw's or audi's because Honda is known for reliability, so i want to make sure, its gonna be a reliable car
