5/8 screw in tire
Hey guys,
Do you think I'm alright by just taking it out? Do you think the tire is punctured? Do I need any patching? I'm taking a long trip pretty soon so I don't want any chance for a flat,
Thanks,
Jerry

If you have a flat in one of the rear tires and it needs replacing, guess what. You will need to replace both rear tires because the circumference of each tire will now be different and it will drift on acceleration. I had an anoying slow leak that was too close to the sidewall to be repared and ended up having to replace both tires to stop the lane changes when accelerating. (Yes the driftng was that bad!)
if its barely in the tire (just the very tip) dont worry about it. however, if it went any lower than a few MM, then get it pushed through and patched. they will poke the hole all the way through, or else, you will get tire separation from a bubble that will form on the tire.
Yep, had a nail in one of my rear tires about a week ago. It wasn't near the sidewall and I'm not sure how long the nail was, but I had it taken to a tire shop and they patched it up for me free.

I had a screw in my tire and just got it patched for free at America's Tire Company. One of the salesguy's there owns an S2K and he offers free service to other S2K members from the board. Where are you from???
