Default 5 month old S2000 vs curb

Last Friday, I spun my wife's 5 month old S2000 on the way to work. I was making a turn on a side street, and in combination with cresting a hill mid turn and too much throttle, I spun 180 degrees and bounced a curb into a yard. Not good.

Alignment is out of whack at all 4 corners. The local dealer has replaced the rear bearing on the side that hit, but still no go. The wheels all checked out, so now they are going to order new upper and lower control arms on the back side that took the brunt of the hit. The bill now stands at $1000.

Good thing I have a comfortable couch to sleep on

it's gotta be a 05. VSA won't allow this to happen...

It's sucks the first time you spin the S. Some people get lucky (me) and nothing happens besides getting the crap scared out of you. Was it cold out? if so do you have summer tires on?

Sorry it happened but i guess it could of been worse.

i should have my car back this week....

i hit a curb

i went through insurance...bill came out to $3500, so far...new bumper, fender, front hub, knuckle, control arm, abs sensor, fender liner, ect...

and i just got a call saying the wheels are unrepairable, so i need two new wheels also, then an alignment, and then maybe some rear suspension work if it doesn't align properly.

Do yourselves a favor and attend a local autocross/de ASAP, it will help a lot in car control which will help when the rear decides to come around. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than paying 3000 each time you smack a curb.
