I'm glad he brought it back because I was just about to repost it because I had similar thoughts and wondered if anyone has done some much wieght reduction that they had to pay attention to where the shifted the wieght.

FWIW, 50/50 is not necessarily "perfect" weight distribution. Generally, a decent-power rwd car is going to want more rearward bias than 50/50.

Want to lose weight out of the car? Just buy an inflatable doll, fill her with helium (better yet, hydrogen) and strap that biyatch into the passenger seat.

As I live in Cincinnati, I like the Marge Schott version. She smokes, has a voice box that repeats "Hiya Honey" and has three life like orifices.

Your mileage may vary.

Now there is an inventive way for weight reduction.

It does not have perfect 50/50 distribution. Some people try to mod the car to have a dist. closer to that.
It's pretty damn close though. I had my car corner-weighed at autocross, and it was 49.5 front/50.5 rear. Or maybe it was 50.5 front/49.5 rear, I cant remember, but I still have the chassis sheet at home. The dyno shop that brought the scales out there saw it and they were like wtf. Said it was the most evenly balanced car they'd ever weighed.
