Just a quick word to let everyone know that we have reached our goal of 60 cars for the S2000 Club of America event at Laguna Seca. We have a total of 54 S2000's, three NSX's, two Miatas (one a crazy turbo), a 2002 Impreza WRX and a Corvette C5.

Woohoo!



One caveat...

We have one member of the club whose father will still attending the event, but he will not be on the track during the hot laps as originally planned. So, he asked that I help him sell his spot.

And regretably, we had a person sign up just yesterday, who had a situation arise and now won't be able to make it. We will help him sell his spot too...

So if you know anyone who wants to go, get them to contact me at greg@s2kca.com ASAP and I'll hook you up.

And serious congratulations to everyone who is participating...I'm REALLY looking forward to this! It's going to be a very memorable weekend meeting you all and then being at the mother of all race tracks in America!

OK, so my math skills aren't what they used to be...wait, they were never anything to begin with!

Can't help you on the helmets, VTEC Racer...remember that there will not be any provided by Laguna Seca, so you will have to scrounge them up prior. And while I'm sure that you could borrow other people's helmets at the track, the idea of putting on someone else's sweaty helmet is something you need to consider. So I would advise not to count on that either...

And we still have the one open slot we need to sell for our friend who had to pull out, so get in if you want it...!
