Default 6'6"... should I even bother?

yes, I am a tall bizotch. I weigh in at 210... working my way to getting to 230 by the summer (trying to bulk up). I have heard that there is a mod to lower the seat and taking out the hook behind the seat works for more room too... is that enough?

I am looking into an E36 M3 right now but I've always loved the S2000. I have sat in them before and can fit but i'm looking for a daily driver. what are your thoughts?

Wow, that is tall! I don't know if you would be very comfortable with it as a DD. I would not be happy with it if I had to drive it all the time, and I am only 6'0. Just too little for day to day driving, but that is what makes it so fun.

someone needs to make a small, fun roadster for people my size ... there is a huge untapped market from what I see.

I know I fit in Nissan 300ZX and even the older Toyota MR2. THey are close to what the S2000 is but still not there. Which car manufacturer will answer to this call first? (and lets not forget to stay affordable)

I'm 6'5" and 150lbs and I had the seat up one notch from the back.

It depends if most of your height is in your torso, legs or neck.

even if the S fits you fine now, it may get extremely cramped when you're 230lbs. i'd say go for the M3. either that or don't bulk up. just keep in mind that when it comes to performance driving, the lighter the driver, the better. also, imo, as a daily driver, the M3 is more fun mainly cuz the M3 gives you a better ride, plus you get mega torque throughout the power band. despite what most diehard S2K owner will tell you about how awsome it is to rev to 9000rpm, you will not be doing it on a regular basis during your daily commute, plus can you see yourself redlining from stop light to stop light each time just to feel the power??

OK - 6'5" and 270. Yeah - I'm a big boy - but its not my daily driver. It fits like a glove and I love it BECAUSE its so snug - like a true race car. But then again - I bought it for the pure fun/sport of driving - not as a transportation device - to me there is a difference. My daily driver is a pickup truck.

I think the big thing to pay attention to when you sit in a car like this is - Ok its tight, but is anything painful - i.e. poking into you or rubbing against sharp dash pieces etc. A friend has a Boxster S and I am not comfortable in it becasue its tight in a bad way - my knees come out with bruises... Think about an LMP 900 car - thats about as tight as you can get - but obviously its comfortable enough to concentrate on driving the 24...

sup D

I can drive it comfortably... but I have just _slightly_ smaller build than you do, haha.

6'6" 160 and my only problem is that my head is over the roll bars
