Default 69k miles.... anxiety

Guys,

The closer to 70k miles my car gets, the less I sleep.

Im at 69,120.

Am I crazy? My value is going to drop. My car will blow up. My... my... my....

Tell me 70 isnt high for a MY00.

Have you forgotten about AZ's godfather with 200k + out of his original power/drive train?

Relax man.

MY2003 With just over 86k. Bought it with ~32k on the odo about 3 years ago. 70k is still young for the s2k. 100k is becoming more and more common without issues.

46k on my MY06. I'm very jealous of your age/mileage ratio.

Relax OP, your car only looses value if you're considering selling it. Enjoy the next 100k miles. 70k is far from high mileage especially for a honda.

Treat it right, it will treat you right.

I do treat it right, but I constantly think about the $4,000 I spent on my old S2k between 100k and 120k.
