I've had the new beast for a couple weeks now and although there is alot of much more welcome torque, i have to admit that overall balance, steering wheel response, and shifter felt better in the s2000. Which is probably why i still have the s2. Now lets see....which one of you sweethearts wants to be the beater...?

Yup, shes the lovely NA2.
As for mods im on Sport Mach Springs and Bilstein shocks and A new steering wheel(Momo-Corse). Its the same Steering wheel that comes on the NSX-R but no red stitching. Oh well...But i do have the nsx-r honda horn button. Heh.
And the best mod: S2000 Shift knob! WOO WOO!

The interior doesnt really dissappoint at all. The leather is nice and the entire dash is stiched leather. Its exquisite actually, however the electronics are severely sub-par. Tape deck, no cd-slot up front, its terrible. The worst part is its very difficult to change the radio without cutting into the factory radio trim piece which runs at a lovely $650 to replace. Im a custom audio guy and im dying to drop a pioneer navi/av system in but im reluctant...sigh.

dctrpark, I'm assuming you have driven with the targa top off, how does it compare to full-blown top down in the S? (obviously different, and not as fulfilling I would think, but I'm curious to your opinion)
The targa top is terrible. I hate it. you get the worst of what a topless car has to offer and none of the benefits.
All i get is sun on my forehead. HA.
Visibility doesnt improve.
It doesnt feel topless since i still have to look through two windshields(the engine glass and the actual rear window)
Its absolutely pointless.
I always had the top down in the s2, ALWAYS. This car i dont even bother anymore. Sigh. Although it would probably be nice at night but i havent tried. Only other thing about the nsx is that when you open a window you have to open both or nothing at all. When only one window is open, since the area right behind you is glass the air comes in swirls around the back of the car then back to the front and then into your face really drying out your eyes with all the dust etc from the road. Lots of air conditioning for me.
