I'm pretty sure 75w90 is what's recommended. It's what my supplier told me. I think that's also what is recommended on their website.

the reason i ask is my truck originally called for 75/90, then they changed it mid stream to 75/140.... just curious if the 75/140 is not needed (ie overkill), but will work just as well as the 75/90.

there are lots of people here that use 75w140 in their diffs with no worries. i personally have never used it, just been using 75w90, but i'm sure you should be fine...unless anyone out there can attest against it.

Is this for your truck or s2000? If truck then I would say do what they say. It has special additives that make it smell horrid and make it expensive as hell. They probably do other things too . I know its required in the rear of my truck.

i bought a case ($175) of oil for my truck. i swap it out every 10k, since it tows the race car. i am thinking of doing my s2k rear, and i already have top notch oil, so i wanted to use it instead of buying more. well, that was the plan.
