75w90 Diff fluid?
I just changed out my oil, tranny, and diff fluids. I used regular old Honda MTF for the tranny, but used Mobil 1 75w90 GL-5 fluid for my diff. From searching the forum, what is recommended is 90 viscocity. Is my diff okay with this fluid, or should I change it out? Thanks!
I'm using Red Line's 75W-90 in the diff. And Red Line's MT-90 in the transmission. Both of these products are synthetic oil, the MT-90 allows for a more rapid synchro engagement, which improves high-speed upshifting and downshifting. I can tell the difference my tranny, it is smoother now and has reduced my 1st to 2nd problem. This is great stuff and worth every penny! The 75W-90 diff fluid is rated GL-5 and contains reactive sulfur which is needed by the limited slip diff.

. I really didn't want to change out the diff fluid again. That stuff is nasty.
