Default 9000 RPMS

Just curious. I know there are some people who have owned multiple sports cars throughout the years. This question is for you.

How many of you who have the AP1, love the 9000rpm redline?

As for me I've owned a 1971 Mustang, a 1999 prelude and a 2005 RSX Type-S. I have to say that out of those three, the S2000 always puts a bigger smile on my face when I hit the 9000rpm mark.

The S2000 is just easy to slide around an open parking lot with revvvs high. I am having too much fun in this roadster. haha.

Anyone else have comments?

so out of a choice of mustang, prelude and rsx...the S wins?
Awesome!
That's like me winning an oscar without even being nominated

just messing.

I love the 9k redline. I make use of it almost every single day, multiple times.
Been getting more than the usual amount of dirty looks when I pass people (I'm accelerating up to the speed limit only) at 9k. One guy even blared his horn at me as I passed today.

i only hit 9K today. lol, i've been too timid about going there.

it was by accident really. the engine was singing it's tune then i peer at the tach and i see the red part blink....(or maybe the sun was playing tricks, since i was top down). anyway, i shifted promptly.

^^Agreed, you have too just love that 9k snarl. I dont rev that high unless im entering the freeway where i take a couple of gears to 9k. Its just too risky in my little town besides one quick wind out in one gear is just a total tease!

i loved the 9k redline so much that i had to make my 2.2l engine risk going there. even if my engine breaks down early, i think it will be worth it. there is a totally different note between 8-9k.

hhahahahahaa 9k is like having something illegal on your car. You drive normally, pass people at 5k, get good gas mileage then all of the sudden, you kinda feel like you're about to do something wrong, look around for cops loll and you take it to 9k. It's like pushing a NOS button that at the same time opens a hole right after the header.

I do this each and every day I take the car to work (once or twice a week)

^^ it does feel like you have something illegal in your car! i love turning into my neighborhood in 1st gear occasionally; the engine sounds great and makes me feel like i'm in an indy car pulling into pit lane. the other day when i did that, this guy ran out of his house like wtf is going on
