Default 94 FD (rx7) or 05 S2000?

Im selling my 94 FD, basically stock other than an RB exhaust for a brand new S2000. What would be some advantages, disadvantages of going from a FD to a S2000?

Help me out guys, all my FD buddies keep telling me not to do it, I just think its time to move on.

Here's a pic of my FD (just to whore one)

Im actually thinking about getting a black on black S2000 with "hopefully" a hardtop.

TIA,
ALI

I sold my FD three weeks ago and picked up the s2k last Friday.
Advantages:
Not driving with your eyes glued to the temp gauge.
Getting more than 17 mpg
Clean garage floor
Top down!
Not keeping 5k in the bank for the next motor

Disadvantages:
Not crushing my neighbors C6
No "holy crap what is that?" looks
Not much better in bad weather
Can't break the tires lose in 3rd
ground doesn't shake and seas don't part when it's started. :-)

I miss the FD, but it was a money pit, and a rolling grenade.

I wanted a 3rd generation RX7 for a number of years but the more I read about some of the previously mentioned problems I began to have my doubts. My S2000 is my daily driver 8-9 months a year, if the RX7 would have been my second car I might have gone that route.

If this is a secondary car, I'm going to be the first to call you a dumbass if you trade it in for an s2k.

If this is your primary mode of transportation, then there isn't a better choice than an s2000 to replace the FD.

Um....why would it be a mistake? His rx-7 is basically stock (as he says) so the performance should be fairly close. He would be moving to a newer, more reliable, more fuel efficient car that is just as engaging to drive, and getting a convertible to boot. The advantages of the rx-7 when compared to its contemporaries (300zx TT and Supra TT) are light weight and purity of purpose, both things the s2000 has in spades.
