i'm curious about the ABS light being on all the time, is that normal?

I guess there is a reason some people call them idiot lights.

Click and Clack sometimes suggest that black electrician's tape can eliminate the offensive glow. You might give it a try. After all what do you have to lose?

Or you might try reading the fine manual.

 

Mine turn on a lot when it really hot. But winter it just gone I'm going to change my brake setup soon so I will have my guy check it out on my car.
