Good Point. I've brought the back end out a few times when I was on S02's, and I felt the slide, but it was pretty quiet. This was in the dry, too.
I'm on Toyo Proxes now, and I head a little bit of a squeal when I bring the back end out.

After a few weeks of usage, I vouch for it, without having had any such situation so far... but it is good to know that if it comes up you'll get advance warning.

A nice feature is being able to set tyre pressure even when the tyres are hot as it displays temp corrected deltas from target 20C temperatures. Quite neat.

Although tire pressure could have been a contributing factor you clearly described the probable cause of the spin.. decreasing the radius and reducing power. A sure way to bring the rear around in many cars but especially dangerous with the S2000.. my only high speed spin (on the track) was caused by exactly that combination.

Another testimonial here for avoiding a throttle lift. It goes against every street-driving instinct to stay at least neutral on the throttle but it settles the car in a really fast turn.

I've swapped ends probably a dozen times now, all safely on Auto-X courses, and every time a throttle lift was involved (of course that avoided too much understeer at the time...)

Everyone should learn how to learn a sportbike first before getting behind the wheel of a car (in theory, of course...). The physics of riding a bike apply to cars (with less extremes mind you), considering you learn very quickly on a bike. On 2 wheels, if you feel the bike about to lose it around a turn, the last thing you want to do is brake, never jump off the gas all together... that would spell certain disaster. Aggressive drivers (like us) need to will, or rather train themselves to remain steady on the gas and not jump on the brakes in mid-turn when you feel the car braking... Only after you learn this can one scale to more fun things like dropping the gas and countersteering like a beast to make it out of those turns... Now that's fun...
