I took my car(00Red/Black #9027) to Acura yesterday for it's first oil change and I must tell you that the service was excellent. I was treated with the courtesy and respect that we owners of the S2K are entitled to receive(just my opinion). After all it is a special car even if the production numbers are higher than we all thought. Anyway, they even wash your car for you but since I am so picky I didn't allow them to proceed with a washing!! No dents or scratches or even fingerprints on the car. I you don't have the time to service it yourself then take it to Acura, they will treat you right. BTW, soon it will be my NSX that they will be servicing, the question is will it be the present one or the next generation?

 

Great post! Yes the Acura dealer has super service. My fiancee takes her Civic there instead of taking it to the Honda dealer and they offered to service my S2000 (the Acura service manager has an S2000 also). Wish Honda had this level of service

 

You are correct TebbNSX, I just came back from the Acura dealership 5 minutes ago. They treated me with respect, gave me coffee, and let me play around with the CL typeS while I waited for my car.
(now if only they'd lower the price on Acura parts..)

 

Can Acura do warranty work and /or all schedule maintenance on the S2000?

 

My acura dealer is FANTASTIC for service (and sales, BTW). I wish the S2000 was an acura so I could get warrantee service done there.

They can do anything but warrantee work, from what they told me. The problem is that they can't get re-imbursed from Honda for warrantee work.

 

Scheduled maintenance they can do, I think Honda/Acura have the same schedule. Warranty only Honda dealers can do.

I like taking my car back to the dealer, get a free vaccum and wash while it's getting serviced .

 

The Acura and Honda dealer are right next to eachother in my city. I wonder if they'd just tell me to go next door.
