You guys know that posting a public thread BEFORE you even inform the vendor of an issue in not fair to the vendor? Right?

Now the OEM sidemarker have broken like this too. Just compare your to your OEM and will will see they are exactly the same.

Just shoot Jeff (Jeff@Hardtopguy.com) an e-mail. He will be glad to ship you a replacement set, of this I am sure.

Thats what you get for leaving team amber!!!

Seriously, we try not to bash vendors on this site until they have refused to give good customer service.

Jeff and the rest of the guys at Ganley Honda are top notch. Let's not distort their reputation w/ idiotic threads.

Sorry man, but my OEM Amber sidemarkers did the same thing when I pulled them. It could be an issue with the part, not the sponsor. And there's a very good chance that Jeff will make good on your problem. At least give him the chance to do so.

The JDM sidemarkers are made by Honda. I dont think this is Hardtopguy's fault!

I have a pair of cleared markers from Jeff and I have had no problems with them whatsoever.
Keep in mind that if you need to change the bulbs once they've been installed, you really, REALLY MUST do the "dental floss" removal trick. It works like a charm and for me was the key to removing them. Trying to do it manually (by hand) was a surefire way to snap off the mounting tabs. I broke one of the tabs on my ambers that way before learning about the floss.
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Do a search on sidemarker removal and you will come up with the dental floss technique.

I bought a hardtop hardware kit from jeff. Package arrived with some missing parts. Contacted him and he shipped the missing parts to me. Awesome guy. Would buy again.

Very poor form, especially in the light of this:
I am giving Jeff a call on Monday regarding this and hopefully they will recognize this and give me a refund. This was by no means a bad install on my part.
Why not give the call FIRST and if no resolution, THEN post this? Would you call the Better Business Bureau BEFORE you talked to the vendor?
