I want to tune my S2000, i've got 6000km. As result i would like to have a deeper sound, quicker response below 6000 rpm. here in belgium they proposed me a DCS exhaust and a jackson racing supercharger. What's your opinion?

Jackson told us it would be longer than that if they even put together a kit? Said they werent sure the market was big enough.
Also they had another project to finish first anyhow, so I pretty much gave up on their SC.

If that is the case Id like to know more about it.

I talked with Jackson Racing at SEMA a few weeks ago, dont even consider the Jackson SC. They have not begun development yet, and at the speed they usually develop parts it will be (if ever) a minimum of a year.

The Comptech and Distinzo Bellenza (did I spell that right?) are the two superchargers currently available that I know of. I know MG Racing (a sponsor of the board) can get you the Distinzo Bellenza SC, and within a couple of weeks I will hopefully be organizing a official Comptech SC group buy. For the ultimate in power, you may want to look into the Top Fuel turbo kit for your S. I'm assumming that you have the JDM spec S2000, which makes your car far more compatible with the Top Fuel kit than most of our USDM cars. The Top Fuel kit will offer a HP gain of 130-150 from the numbers I've seen (without upgrading or modifying the engine). Top Fuel S2000s that I've seen start at 380ps (approx 376hp). MG Racing should be able to get you this kit as well.

Young,

Not that I know of. There are compatibility problems with the computer that the Top Fuel kit uses. The US computer/engine are different than the JDM car that the Top Fuel kit is built for. The main differences here are compression ratio and octane needed to avoid engine damage. The only way to run the Top Fuel kit properly on a US car would be to convert the engine and computer to JDM spec (which would require that you use racing gas, rather than pump gas).

All rather frustrating, otherwise I would have done the Top Fuel turbo kit on my own car a year ago.

Depends on your Budget ($$$) and how you plan to use the car.
