Hi guys, my name is Edwin, a new member to this forum . I was wondering if I can get some advices from other S2k owners on the color choice and etc.. I am moving back to Bay Area, CA, where I was originally from, in about a month after graduate from UCLA. Since my parents' house doesn't have a garage, I may have to park my S on the driveway if I get one . I was wondering if any owner would have the same situation of parking his/her S outside. And most important, how safe would it be since I had terrible experiences of having my cars (Civic Si, Impreza, & ITR) stolen or vandalized. If it is too dangerous, I may need to hold on to my dream til I get a house with a garage in about 2 years.

I also kind of can't decide which color combination I should get: Grand Prix White/red, Sebring Silver/red, Silverstone/red, or Spa Yellow/black. I like the white/red combo alot; however, from my research on this forum, it seems like that color combo will not be available next year and it is very hard to find even for year 2002 model. Does anyone have any suggestion?
And lastly, I was planning to get a hardtop for the S. I like the mugen hardtop alot. Or, should I get the manufacture made hardtop? Does anyone have some pictures for the Grand Prix White or Sebring Silver or Silverstone Silver w/ manufacture made OR mugen Carbon Fiber hardtop?

About parking your S outside, I guess that depends on your neighborhood. I park my S outside and have no worries (until it hails), but if I had previous problems with vandals there is no way I would put anything expensive outside.

As for the colors, it's all up to you. I'd suggest you show up to one of the Bay area S2000 get togethers to check out all their rides and see what color you like best. Pics of hardtops...plenty in the photo gallery. Try these:
