just want some input. I sold my S2000 a coupe of months ago, it was a 2003 S2000. I'm in the market for another car but not sure if I want to get into another S2k or try something else. What do you guys think. My price is mid to high 20s.

If I got another one, it will be a AP2 but what year. The 06 and up have traction control, but anything else mechanically? what else is different from 04-05.

If you can't find anything you like then get another one. The 06+ have traction control, driver by wire throttle, speakers on the roll hoops (pretty useless), different wheels. Thats about it though.

but yea... he should get his word straight that there no such thing as Coupe for the S2000. hahaha


Well, I say you should try something else because you sold your S for a reason. So try the new Accord Coupe V6 with 268HP. hahaha
or get a Civic Type R that is off the heezeee..lol

I just bought an 07, I like having the traction control I have driven several rear wheel drive cars without it, and find this one much harder to break this one loose. The rollhoop speakers are alright, not great at high speeds with the top down, but I figure at least having them makes it easier to put after market speakers in the same place.

Why did you sell it in the first place?

I have to admit I thought about an 08 Accord Coupe, so nice

O yea.. or Wait for the new Skyline comes out, or the LF-A, or IS-F, or like the new NSX, or the new celica protype that I read in the magazine. hahah

If you must need a car now, get a civic coupe or something, not the SI, just get regular EX and cruise and save gas as your DD, then save up some more by that time you get those car from above that I have mention. goodluck

 

well first we have to know why you sold the s2000, is it because it doesnt have enough power (like alot of people sometimes do), then seems like an evo is for you. and if you sold the s2000 im assuming its cause you werent happy with it... so why get another one...?

 

unless we know this, we can't possibly know whether or not another s2k would be good for you

 

the reason why i sold my s2000 was because I had red interior and didn't like it that much. The car was fun to drive and love how it was fuel efficient. The power did get to me as well. It wasn't too fast. From what I have seen, the ap2 puts out a little more hp than the ap1. Has a lot more torque as well.

Before I sold it, I went to a couple of auto-x and it was a lot of fun. So yah I would like to get back into the S2k.

I heard 2006 is the only year that the ecu is reflashable? does drive by wire make any difference?

How much do you think I can get a 2006 for? There is one at a dealership that has 456 miles on it. I have seen a 2007 go for 28.8 and a 2004 for 24k. Anyways, do you think I can get it for 25k. If possible get it OTD for 27k or so. Let me know. Thanks guy. Can't wait to get back into another S. I think I made up my mind.
