AEM CAI, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Default AEM CAI, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

a week ago i installed aem cai. it sounded great and runs perfect. but the day after, check engine light came on. i tryed disconnecting battary and swiching vaccum hoses. but the check engine light wont disappear. can anyone help me with this??

idk if you've done this yet..but try using the search on the forum...i know i read about this a couple times here..

i searched and did everything i could. but CEL still wont go out. the CEL bugs me everytime i drive. please help!!

Go to Autozone snd get the CEL code, then people can help.

i know you said you reset the ECU, but you might want to try it again. when i put my intake on my prelude, it did the same thing. needless to say, i freaked. code came back primary O2 sensor something or other. i reset the ECU when i got home and it hasnt come on since. good thing since the o2's for my car are like $250.

vacuum lines. check that you connected them exactly right.

Youll need to get your code pulled as that will tell you what and where something is wrong. It may have nothing to do with your aem. As said above, make sure y our lines were hooked up correctly but there isnt much a cai can do to pull a code.

Have it checked out!
