Cool AEM intake for MY06 S2000

I just got a call from a guy named Andrew at AEM asking if they can use my S2000 to test fit the new intake they designed for the MY06 S2000. Of course I told him yes...I am not about to pass up on a free product!

It will be interesting to see if AEM made the correct design changes to account for the changes Honda made to the intake. We'll see.

That's what my goal is--to try and get as many sponsorships as I can. I really hoped that Comptech would have used my S to develop a s/c for the MY06, but their using somebody elses. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll want a backup car.

When I am at AEM I am going to talk to them about an EMS for the MY06 and see what their intentions are.

I now have the prototype of the AEM CAI for an MY06 S. I cannot provide any pictures at this time. AEM wants me to hold off until the production model is ready. They are going to make a few changes to the prototype over the next month or so. I should have the final product on my S within the next 45 days or so.

Do you have any dyno numbers yet?

I recall you saying that most "prototype" intakes for the MY06 have an overall loss in horsepower. Have you noticed any gains for the prototype intake at all?
