It's not plug & play. They say it is, but you'll need to do some configuring.

What mods are you currently running and what are you looking to do with the AEM that you can't now?

It takes alot to tune the AEM. I got a quote from tourque freaks and it is about $1200.00 to tune.. Good luck..

What do you mean by doing some configuring?

If your car is stock, the EMS is overkill.

Most EMS users have extreme setups like high boost Turbo and Supercharger applications or even very high compression NA setups. If you just plan on doing minor bolt ons and want to re-tune, go for the Apex VAFC.

As AndyP said, the EMS is overkill, when you go turbo/SC and get some bigger injectors go with the EMS.

Until then, the VAFC will do fine for you if you want to tweak out stock power.

I was thinking of using a piggyback but then I saw the AEM EMS and it sound more safe because it is manufactured for the car it self than to use any other electronic system that is not programmable for the car.
I also have in mind to make some other changes to the car in the future.
