i just got my aem v2 intake today. i am planning on installing it in a couple days. i heard alot of guys talk about plugging their drain hole. can anyone elaborate on how to do this, and exactly what purpose it is serving? sorry i don't know a whole lot about this sorta thing. wanna learn though, and i wanna do it right. if anyone could get back to me real fast on this issue lemme know asap. thanks guys

 

Take some duct tape and put it over this:


Get an empty milk jug and make an "umbrella":

Metal tape works better. Duct tape adhesive is proven to fail under moisture rich conditions. Hence why no A/C company really uses it on ducts anymore. Metal tape is better. The tape will tear before the adhesive gives up its grip! Just put 2-3 layers on there and you should be good to go.
