Default AEM V2 and Throttle Response...?

I have come accross comments several times now that throttle response decreases with the V2. Can anyone comment first hand on this? Why is that the case?

Totally untrue. I have had my v2 for well over a year now and recently drove an S with a stock airbox and couldnt believe how much better the throttle response is with the v2. No lag or bog. If there are no dyno gains in pure horsepower, its still worth it to eliminate the hesitation.

I agree with villian. I have had my V2 for three months now and love the throttle response. One of my friends accidently swapped the two small hoses from the sensor and that reduces the response a ton. No other symptoms of this, just bad response.
