Default aerodynamics

Just wondering ive read in prior post that the s2k has a pretty bad aerodynamics at high speeds. how much of a diff does that make compared to a 350z which pulls over 100.. is it because the 350 has more torque or cause the s2k aero. Also, if you lower the car an 1 inch, would that help aero. What is needed to improve aero dynamics to the best the s2k could be. Thanks

to help aerodynamics, I'd get an '04 bumper with a mugen lip and some kind of rear diffuser with a mugen rear wing

just my $.02

I think they mention that it's bad at high speeds because the tail starts to lift a little bit and it gets a little unstable. Any functional spoiler would help that. For the most part though, it doesn't look like it would be less slippery than a Z.

Where did you read that? Drive the car to 100, the s2000 feels way more stable then most cars you'll ever try.

Seems like you're looking for ways to lower the drag.

Lower the car and install a hardtop.

I was really amazed at how much more stable the car felt above 100MPH with the Mugen hardtop - but I never thought the car needed a whole lot of help to begin with.

Hardtop (any hardtop) is going to be the most simple and effective aero improvement. If that's what you want....

I track my car with the top down, because even though it is slower it feels more fun to me.
