Default Aerodynamics issue?

So I've been noticing an issue ever since I purchased my car new. Whenever it's raining (or just stopped raining) and the side windows have water on them, I'll get on the highway and the passenger side window gets fully dry in a minute or two. The driver's side window never does, it's like no wind hits it at all. There are drops of water just sitting there vibrating while I'm doing 70+mph. Weird, eh?

I did not modify anything in terms of aerodynamics. Only thing I have is a hardtop, however this issue was present before the hardtop as well. Car is lowered and I have an OEM lip, but I hardly think that affects anything.

Anyone else notice this? It's pretty annoying since after a rain, there will be water spots all over my driver's side window but none anywhere else.

Are you accounting for side winds?

... wha?

I've never heard of a car design that factors in blowing off rain after a storm so that there will be no water marks. Just wipe down the windows whenever you have a chance.

It's not a feature, it's an indicator that wind is flowing around the car in a non symmetrical way. To the OP: it could be very small adjustments in the bumper or fender during assembly. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

You may want to have the wheel alignment checked. The car could be slightly off-kilter as it moves down the road.

Yep, this is correct. I don't worry too much, just curious if anyone else noticed. Looks like one person did.

Funny, I had my alignment done already twice on two separate occasions after purchasing the car. It did that off the lot and after both alignments.

Might try claybar on the glass to keep the water sticking to micro dirt particles.
