Default Aftermarket exhaust question

After seeing the post "what is the loudest exhaust", I must ask what exhaust do you think offers the most power gain with the least sound?

I've heard the comptech is one of the quieter choices but I don't like how polished and shiny it is, considering it will go on a Silverstone S2k.

Ideally I'd like to find one that sounds great at vtec but isn't annoying when putting around. Is this possible?

thanks.

spugen dual ovals if you replace only the mufflers...
but all nonstock exhausts are loud at some point!
best to hear the one you think you will get- plenty of them around where you live...
btw, whats wrong with some bling on your silverstone?

Id get either the Comptech or Spugen ive heard both and they are both reasonably quite. Both have a nice deep growl in mid-range to vtec area. Actually the Comptech may be quiter. Whats wrong with a polished exhaust I think it looks great. Blingy
