Aftermarket Intake Filter for OEM intake?

Thumbs up Aftermarket Intake Filter for OEM intake?

im needing a new intake filter soon, and i dont wanna get another green ugly oem.. paper intake filters are so old and not the best for the car.

what else is out there for the s2k as far as filters..

and where did u buy,

You could probably do a search and find this info. I believe K/N is a popular replacement for the OEM. A lot of JDM fans get the Spoon filter as well. I don't see what the ugly green color has to do with anything cause it's in a box and it's just a filter.

i've got a KN, and it seems to work just fine, i refuse to pay 200 bucks for a (spoon) air filter.

I run the Comptech drop in filter. Its washable/ reusable too.

I use an AFE and this was after my JR filter element came disconnected from the base. No such problems with the AFE.

does anyone know if the spoon air filter will work on an AP2? I was looking around and a lot of websites state its for the AP1
