I'm 25 and its my 4th car. Bought and paidfor by myself. Personally at 18, i'd rather spend the money on my own place rather than a car. (for those living with mamma&dadda). Trust me, you can get booty with the car, but you can get way more throwing parties at your own crib :-P

And for us guys that actually pay for our own cars, doesn't it make it sweeter that we earned our own cars?

I'm 27 and have owned several cars over the years. My personal view is to by things that appreciate in value first. I have spent much more money buying property over the years as investments. In my opinion it seems stupid to have to work three jobs and live at home just so you can afford a car. Go to college and get an education. In the long run, education = money. Use the money to buy a place to live and then buy what ever you feel like!

I own an 05' and I just just turned 18...

I do pay for the car myself but have it under my moms name cuz it makes my monthy payments cheaper by her having good credit...

Got three jobs and live with my mom but it's all worth my S2K ...

But if you got one given to you that's cool too just don't brag cuz that stuff isn't too cool...

Know what you have and you won't have to prove jack to nobody...
Wow you are exactly in the same situation as me xD

I also work three jobs and my mom's name is on the title xD

I'm due to turn 18 too! (Aug26)

I agree with you totally in getting an education...

I am currently taking evening classes in a local college to get into the medical field$$$...

I don't need a house right now and part of the three jobs is to help my family with paying bills and money my mother owes...

My S2K was a damn good investment for me and hopping to have it for quite a whyle...

Don't need a house right now, I can save up later with better paying jobs, it's kinda a family first thing right now...

I'm not mad at your comment or but hurt about it or anything, I actually wanted to agree on your education theory
