I have a 03 S2000 with 18,500 miles, everytime I go over some uneven/bumpy/crap roads my car makes a squeaking noise (sounds like two pieces of metal rubbing against each other) from under the car? Its driving me nuts anyone have similiar problems or know what it could possibly be? Thanx

Check the spare tyres and make shore it is tight. I know what you mean. One day I checked it and tighten it. Now the car does make that noise anymore. Hope this helps.

it might be the handbrake shoes

try reassembling the rear brakes and handbrake shoes, if you can't do it ask the mechanics if they are worn out.

try your handbrake, and see if it works well

Are you lowered? It might be your suspension if your struts are getting low in life.

I noticed you live in Garden Grove.

I suggest you driving to a dealer to see what the squeaks are. Honda World is close by and they have very good service.

Another suggestion is to go to one of the S2000 meets. There are plenty of meets/events in your area. Taking someone for a ride in your car to hear the squeeks is much easier than trying to describe squeeks and noises on the internet.

I'm sure there are many members in our area that would help you out.

You're welcome, glad I could help.

I'd volunteer to help with the squeeks, but I have some of myself I have to figure out too, haven't had the time to look at them.
