AHHH My S is dead
Have been sitting in garage for about 2 months now...
so I went to go start up the car for warm up today.... and looks like the battery is dead...
car doesn't initiate at all.
Does this mean the battery is dead 100% or what?
if jump started, would the battery recharge?
response would be appreciated
thanks yall

Not sure about 100% dead but it's fairly easy to fix
. Best to put a charger on it and let it sit for a few hrs or over nite depending on the charger some will shut off once the battery is charged.
Jumping probably won't work to charge the battery if it's that dead.
When I read the title I thought maybe the engine blew. Glad you have a easily fixed problem

I belive that if you car sits for more than 2-3 weeks you should get a battery tender.
I picked mine up for $20 + Shipping online. I use to drive the car every two weeks just to get the battery charged. Now i don't have to.

Check the water level in it, it's prolly low or completely gone, be sure to fill with distilled water. Anyways a decen t batt. is like $50-60, not THAT big a price tag.

It says it's maintenance free but I've had to put distilled water in it once to top off.
If you charge your battery overnight, don't forget to disconnect the battery cables. I'd charge it outside of the engine bay.

Batteries don't like deep discharges like that so you shorten the life each time you totally discharge it. Like the others said, get a charger. If you drive the car for a few hours the alternator will charge the battery. Otherwise, put it on a charger.

I had the same problem. During the "Winter Sleep" of my S2000 my battery was regulary drained
Now i bought a charger device from ctek. It can be plugged in during the whole time and it will start to charge if the battery voltage is going down.
Dunno if the Ctek device is available in the states, but i am sure you can get a similar thing:
Here is a link: (I use the CTEK Multi XS 3600, Costs about 79 Euro here in Germany)

I have a battery conditioner installed in the roof of my garage and a pull down power plug. I hot wired the Power Socket (AKA cigarette lighter socket) so it is connected to the battery even with the ignition off (see Modifry's web site) and when I park my battery is charging or being conditioned.
No more flat batteries.
