I wonder if someone could explain to me what's so appealing about this IM stuff.
Do you relish the idea of being interrupted by a complete stranger at any time, while you're trying to do something else? That is what happens, isn't it? Don't mean to sound negative, but I'm just trying to understand it.
I used ICQ briefly a long time ago, but I gave it up when I learned about the many security holes in that system. Maybe they've fixed them since then, but that sort of soured me to the whole idea.
