Ive seen many times an air duct made into aftermarket bumpers on the right side. Is it possible to cut the oem bumper to get this intake effect? anyone ever tried?

 

I have cut the small black peice on the passenger side that goes right into my intake... Dont know how much performance I got out of it, but I like it. I would not recomend that you do this if the car is drivin in the rain and that you have a cold air intake becuase there is a chance of hydrolocking the engine.

 

If you are talking about the fake ducts on either side of the radiator opening, I have those cut out. I used Coastal metals grilles on them after cutting them out. More cold air into my Injen intake now, and no fake look.

 

Im almost positive he is talking about that, and yes I think it looks better as well.

 

no, that isnt what im talking about....look at j's bumper...that cutout to the right of the headlight...right where the hood meets the bumper...

I don't think you can do it with OEM and make it look clean...

 

But theres a duct you can buy from mr. alex to get that look if you want AJ Racing
