When I use them, I always get a kick out of the jolt that the driver experiences and I watch their car shoot back to where it came from....hilarious!

And yes, Brian, red is the fastest...you should have realized that on our trip down to Asheville!

Gregg,

We're not talking about BUTT horns - although on a very base level that would be an "air" horn however in case of emergency I'll take the FIAMM horn over your butt horn anyday, besides, I'm not aware of the FIAMM's emitting any foul odor...

If you add in all of the numerous trips I took to the hardware stores for nuts, bolts, braces, etc. the total comes to like 16 hours or something...real work of it took me about 6-8 hours. Please note, however...I painted the horns from their stock baby blue color to a deep red (to match my calipers ), painted the compressor black, painted the AC condensor and associated tubing black along with all of the brackets, ran some wiring from the stock fuse box, and a few other things. It looks good, sounds even better, and makes those SUV drivers pee all over themselves after being startled.

I don't see any reason why you can't upgrade the two-horn set to a three-horn set, but where are you going to get the extra horn?

How long did it take you to do the install?

Not that horn, silly boy. My Hella Supertones which require about the same effort to install. Regardless of what certain ex-members said about the need for better driving habits vs. the need for a better horn I am very glad I made the change.

Kwando,

YES, there is a way to do it without taking the bumper off. If you open your hood and look in front of the radiator, you will see a black plastic cover piece that can be removed. Once you take that off, you can go in from the top of the car, in front of the radiator. That's how my installer did eveything. He didn't remove the bumper at all.

Kwando,

That's how I did it too (as posted above by MarkS2K). Once that air dam is off there is plenty of room to work, it was a piece of cake.
