When you guys bought your s2000 or any other car from honda, were you asked if you wanted to get some kinda warranty that protects your paint and the interior of your car?

If so, did you get it?

Or

Has anyone ever gotten the warranty and acutally used it?

I've never heard of such a thing. I believe what they are trying to get you to buy is a paint protection and interior protection "package". They will also try to sell you "rust proofing" and undercoating. All these are sold at exhorbitant prices under the auspices of "warranty".
Here's an eye opener ......................................
The paint protection costs the dealer a couple bucks in material and about an hour labour that they pay some lacky getting paid minimum wage to do. The "warranty" may only be honored if you go back for annual inspections and possible re-treatment at your expense. You are far better off waxing the car on your own.
The interior protection is no more than treating the interior with Scotchgard or vinyl protectant. This last about 6 months. You can do this on your own if you so desire.
Rust proofing is unnecessary for most modern day cars as they come very well rust proofed from the factory.
These are generally targetting those who are unknowledgable, ignorant or just plain so lazy that they want to take the easy way.
