It is going to depend on your area. A firestone in my city might be terrible where you have a good mechanic/manager who cares in yours. Try asking around for some local recommendations, maybe check your local forum? In my experiance the local non-chain shops tend to do the better job as they are not working on such a high volume (or they are, but b/c of their reputation).

Hope it helps,
- J

i kinda agree with u but im afraid that local shops has never done any s2k in their shop and i dont want my car to be their learning experience. Local forum told me to go to some firestone but i just recently went here at firestone by my house and rejected my car because they might not be able to make it to the lift. NOw im stuck!! worse scenario, il just leave it as is.

so where should i go then...i took it to sears and they crushed my lip...how do u guys feel firestone? i just want to get it as close as possible to stock spec so my tires does not wear out that fast...car has 6k on them and its showing some bad uneven wear on the front tires only...back is perfect...
You need to "shop around" until you find the right alignment technician. I get my car aligned at the local Ford dealership, because that's where the best alignment guy in the area happens to work. If you can find someone with experience in aligning a variety of racing cars and race prepared cars he'll have no trouble with the S2000.

my buddy works at nissan dealership and im not sure if the alignment machine they use can show the spec for the s2k since they are nissan. At least for the regular shops, the machine they use is pre-program to all cars in the US. Thanks for the reply because i thought about the nissan dealership where buddy works as soon as you say ford dealership. Hes pretty good mechanic but il double check if he can get th spec for the s2k...

The Ford dealership that does my car has one of the Hunter "laser alignment" setups.

As long as you can tell the technician what specs you want he should be able align the S2000 (assuming that he understands how the adjustments interact and has the patients to take the time to do it right).
thanks man but i think i found someone local. One of our member here is gonna give me a good price for this and people recommend me to him. Im pretty sure he's done tons of s2k...appreciate all the help guys...thanks again
