Before I start I just want to say I've searched on the topic and found lots of info on the all red interior (referring to the one with the dash red and everything), but its not exactly what I'm looking for.

For those of you who have it, does it ever bother you? It seems like it could get overwhelming at times?

I've read lots of people saying its "grown on them" and they hated it at first but then loved it later. Most of this is from people who just bought the car though, not those that have owned it for a while. This is why I ask.

My personal favorite color combo is the black dash w/ red seats and carpet interior. But thats just me.

The main reason I ask is there is a silver 2002 with 26k miles on it that the owner only is asking 20k for (price kept going down from 23k down to this now). Could it be that people couldnt stand the all red?

Just curious.

 

I used to hate all red interiors -- but it grews on me so much. I can't imagine my S2k without it. Plus, it's one of the rarest color combo out theres I do believe...

 

I love my all red interior , not too many cars with it. I think it looks sexy .

 

My favorite part of the all red interior is the RED dash.

rare or not.... doesn't matter unless you own it and like it. Me personally, i steer away from 2002 red interiors. I like red, but it's too much for me.

 

I believe the all red interior is a love it or hate it look. I was hesitant at first when I purchased my S but when I actually saw it in person, I loved it!! As you can see, I have the GPW/all red. It's such a beautiful combination IMO.

 

I have Berlina with all red interior, I was hesitant on getting it too. Afraid that it was going to be too much red to handle. I'm used to it now, and I drive mine daily. The color combo is rare so it was hard to pass up the opportunity for one. Althougth at times, I would be happy with a black dash too

 

Like the guys said, YOU have to decide if you like it. I have the blue car. Blue EVERYTHING. It even has the optional blue top. It was used and the price was right. But, I hated it at first. Now, I have come to absolutely love it. Mostly b/c of the blue top. I can understand your concern, but, if you think you will like it, chances are that you will love it!

 

i love the all red and that's what i bought... you get a rush ever ytime you drive the car... i have also come to love the blue. in fact, the only S2k interior I haven't come to appreciate is the latest red/blk. but i could live with that too...

 

Thanks for the input. I think if the price was right, I could go for it. My favorite interior though is definatly the red/black though.

Ahh... who knows. I think it will definatly come down to the the lowest miles and the price being nice

I'm a little partial to the red/black color scheme. I love my interior on my 02 spec V
