It's accurate...almost to the penny. I used it to calculate my lease and found that the payment for a 36 month lease was actually lower than a 39 or 42 monht lease. I don't want to disclose the deal I got, but I am VERY happy with it. Play with the numbers until you get the payment you want. Good luck!!

I work for a leasing department of an exotic car dealership that leases all makes and models. The S2000 leases out great because of it's great residual. If you want to send me an e-mail I could run you a quote through my dealership. It may or may not be lower than Honda, but we'll give it a shot. ken@baystateleasing.com

One thing to remember about the calculator is that the payment it produces does not include sales tax. One of the unique things about leasing is that you pay the sales tax as you use the car instead of all upfront when you finance the car. Therefore, be sure to add sales tax to your payment, at whatever the rate is in your area, to determine the total monthly payment.

Actually you dont really pay for the tax, but then again you do. The car is bought by whoever the company is that is leasing it to you. And so it's sold just as if it was being bought... which means tax is added on to the final price. Then that final price is what is used to calculate your payments. And you also pay tax on your payments. the government gets you every way they can.

As for my deal. I got no money down, no security deposit required, free gap insurance, first month's payment free. I have a 60 month lease at a little less than 500 a month. 15,000 miles a year.

I only put 200 down, and pay 540 a month. I have a 36 month lease with 15000 miles a year.
