Are all S2000's made diffrently!?

Are all S2000's made diffrently!?
Such as in the seals...etc... Someone I know says when he was stock he was beating other S2k's by multiple car lengths... besides driver's campability what's the reason for this?

MY2002s and above have shown small hp improvements in comparison to MY2000 and MY2001. Also, hp has varied with stock vehicles as much as 30 hp or more, although they usually dyno in the 195-205 hp range.

Sorry but how is this measured and what does it have to do with my car? I hope being straight hasn't had a detrimental effect on my cars performance
