Did Honda make any changes from 2000-2001 or from 2001-2002, or is it the same vehicle with a different build date. Also, stock HP. I've heard all sorts of different numbers but still don't know whats true.

 

'00 to '01 changes are pretty much color, with some rumored changes to the transmission (not operational changes, just reliability.)

'01 to '02 changes are color, glass rear window, speakers, shift knob, horn, more transmission changes (again, reliability) and some rumored suspension changes (exactly what is unknown.)

No engine changes - hp has always been 240.

That's just off the top of my head.

 

I've owned my 02 since last October and just noticed last Saturday while washing it there is a lock release inside the trunk.I don't think the 00 and 01's have this.Don't recall ever reading about this in changes from other years.

 

'01 has the lock release. The government required these a few years ago to again weaken the gene pool and protect stupid people...

 

Color, hmmmmm. It seems the serious changes from year to year were color. I thought they came in Red, Yellow, Silver, and Black. Any feedback on 2001 colors would be great.

there are leather center console, 2 more speakers on the doors, pocket net on the doors, leather plus aluminium shift knob for 02.

 

for the hard top.

00 need a extra install kit which is standard on 01, 02.
