Default To All Zaino-ed Black S2000s - HELP!

What is your exact wash/wax procedure when using zaino products? How did you get rid of the swirls/scratches? When you used the claybar, did you see more scratches? In direct sunlight, can you still see some scratches/swirls even though you have zaino-ed? Thanks for the replys.

It doesn't matter how many coats of Z-5 you use (I've used over a dozen), you will still see scratches and swirls marks. I wouldn't worry about the swirl marks, but for scratches, use a random orbital buffer. Just be cautious since you are taking off part of the clear coat to get the scratches out.

I've never used the Zaino Z5, only Z2 on my black. Meguiars Gold Class swirl remover worked very well on my Prelude.

Luckily my S2000 doesnt really have swirl marks so I haven't needed to do anything.

Remember though the Black on the S2000 will never be very deep in sunlight as its a pearl paint not a straight black. In the long run the Pearl is better but it will never been a very deep black.

rstark, you should NEVER... I repeat NEVER buff a black car. I've seen the results even after well trained professionals complete the job... HORRIBLE. That's one of the very first things you should learn when dealing with auto exterior care.

You should probably try 3m's Swirl Remover for dark cars.

The stuff is magical. However its really hard on the arms.

My 2001 Black/Red doesn't show swrils, well ok minor ones, but it has a look that I call ' stars at night'.
Let me explain; after a careful wash, and dry, if you view the paint with your back to the bright sun, I see a field of white specs, ' like the sky on a clear night'. I've used an 8X Lupe and there are small pitts that are filled with dried wax, i.e. the white of the stars.

I've asked this before, is anyone else seeing this phenomenon/problem?

I don't even want to think "re-paint" . Will this Zanio clay bar resolve this kind of blemish??
