departing with a loved one is always hard. sometimes you dump her (sell); other times, she dumps you (theft, crash).

glad you enjoy her so much. The S slowly won a spot in my heart but she will always be 2nd to my true love.

Reminds me of a Dada song - Bob the Drummer.

I always find cars I love, and invariably someone hits them with their car, so I have to get a new ride. Right now I can't envision much else I'd rather have besides the S, and I have no plan to sell it.

In the nearly 9 months I've had this car, I've had 3 different guys talk to me about their prior ownership of an S2000. All three were at a gas station. Not one of them felt it was their best move. One guy went so far to say "I think about that car every day. I'll be buying another one."

Every now and then (and usually when/because I'm away from my S for more than 12 hours at a time) I think of getting rid of it, and picking up something that's more practical, a lil bigger, more torque, etc.

Then the next time I drive my car, I get about halfway through the first/second shift and realize I wouldn't be able to do it.

To each his own, but I've never enjoyed a car like I have this one. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on that.

the S has a very connected feeling, like putting on a mech suit or something.

Other cars just feel big to me. My old GSR feels like a school bus sometimes.

maybe we should come up with an official s2k appreciation day where we all drive something else for a day.

I almost sold my S 2 years ago for a C5 Z06, but the money wasn't good enough to make the deal.

That sounds reversed to me, unless the purpose is to get us to miss our S2000.

S2000 appreciation day would be like a mod day for the car. Shower it with gifts...new rims, gears, intake, clean it, wax it, etc...
